Mobile Money

The penetration of smartphones and the increased usage of data , has inevitably brought forth the mCommerce push to publicize and use mobile money. Be it NFC payments, funds transfers, remittances or simply checking your account balance, everything is now possible without going to the bank branch. All this and more are made possible with Mobile Money.

Gartner reports the penetration of MM in developing economies to be the next revolution to capitalize on the mobile penetration over normal radio and television sets. The entire ecosystem of MM requires the network operator, card system and merchants, banks and financial institutions to make it a secured, reliable business proposition. Of late, the offering of mobile money as a service is also seen as an attribute to Customer Experience as it bridges the gap for fast, secure, easy way to transact for our day to day needs.

The third edition of i5 Talks brought together players across this industry spectrum and made for an engaged and lively exchange of perspectives and ideas.
